20 Week ANSWER: Ditka's Restaurant

Ok, so the 20 week picture was an easy one. For the past 3 years my company buys out Ditka's Restaurant for our conference evening event, and we have asked for Ditka to make an appearance every year, and this year he finally did show up. He's a very nice guy, and his wife is a doll too. But then again, my company gives his restaurant ubers amout of cash because of this event, so I would expect him to be nice. Anyways, when I heard the secret that he was going to stop by, I made sure to have my camera on hand because it seemed like a good opportunity for the weekly photo.

Spouses are not invited to the conference event, but that is the bonus to being the event/meeting planner... I can sneak whomever I want into the party... next year maybe I will invite all of you too...

Since I've reached the coveted half way mark in my pregnancy, I was curious tonite to take a quick glance back at my growth spurt over the past 20 weeks or so...

ZERO WEEKS PREGNANT January 2009 vacation in New Zealand

4 WEEKS, 1 DAY same day as confirmed pregnancy test, I remember thinking that day that I looked/felt soooo bloated... and I was soooo certain my mom was just going to know I was pregnant when she saw me because of how bloated I looked... Um yeah I'm not so sure where that bloat is anymore in the picture but I swear it was there that day...

10 WEEKS, 2 DAYS This time I for real thought I was soooo bloated at the end of the day

16 WEEKS, 3 DAYS I ran into my neighbors while out walking and told them how my belly just popped out of nowhere..

20 WEEKS, 4 DAYS I think it is FINALLY safe to say that it looks like a baby is in that belly. And I think I will FINALLY admit that my stomach still has a loooong way to go. I'm pretty sure I'm going to double in size as this kid still has probably another 7-8 pounds to put on before delivery. But according to the books the baby is the size of a canteloupe this week, and judging by the belly I would say that sounds about right, well maybe our baby is slightly bigger then a canteloupe because we're a couple of tall people and we're convinced our kid will be blessed with similar genetics...
